I know in my family, my superhero is my mother. 87 and going strong. Always there for me. As a mom myself, I can relate to the image of the many hats we wear (cook, chauffeur, laundress, maid, teacher, etc). My mom wore them, I wore them and just about every other mom wore or is wearing them. Moms are the “chief executive” of everything home and kid related! There should be more than one day set aside for “mom” but officially . . . there is one. Mothers Day, this year Sunday, May 12. All day. Her day. Need a card? A gift or small token of your appreciation to your mom? Here’s some simple suggestions from Northwoods Home & Gift:

Save the bees! Tea or coffee mugs with a feminine touch.
Give the message of “happy”. Triple stemmed vase.
Cold feet warm heart. Messaged socks. How about “Queen of Damn Near Everything”. Truth.
Is she? Only the coolest and greatest can receive these messaged blocks.
Messaged trinket dishes, gift boxed. My mom is receiving the “super hero”. Because she is.
Is she the Queen Bee? Cute tea towel proclaiming the title.
